Is Work Integrated Learning a Good Option for Working Professionals?

Campus reveiw
Work Integrated Learning Programs are becoming an interesting model for professionals who want to combine employment with structured higher education.

The concept is different from simply taking an online course. WILP is designed around the relationship between academic learning and professional work.

BITS Pilani, for example, describes its WILP as an alternative higher-education model for working professionals and explains that workplace requirements can be integrated with academic requirements.

The Campus Review's guide examines eight WILP options in India and compares areas such as curriculum, flexibility, industry integration, faculty, technology and accreditation.

One useful question for prospective students is: Will the curriculum actually help with my current or future role?

That question may be more important than simply choosing a recognizable university.
