Working with PST Files Without Installing Outlook

rohitpatwa
Recently, I needed to access PST data on a system where Microsoft Outlook was not installed. I expected that to create additional complications, but it turned out to be much simpler than I thought.
DRS Softech PST Converter operates independently and does not require Outlook to be installed. It also supports PST files created by various Outlook versions, including older editions. In my case, I was working with a mix of legacy and newer PST files, and the software handled them without any compatibility issues.
For administrators dealing with archived PST files across different environments, not having to install Outlook can be a major convenience. It was also reassuring to see support for both ANSI and Unicode PST formats, which helped ensure compatibility with older mailbox archives.
